João Costa - Interaction Designer

Designer at Digital Convergence Center on CERTI Foundation in Florianopolis, CEO of Santa Catarina Design Association - SCDesign and IxDA Local Coodinator at Florianópolis. Graduate student in Interaction Design at Faber-Ludens Institute has experience in developing e-Gov projects, social media, interactive systems and Digital Television applications (iDTV).

He has worked on projects for the brazilian government (Science and Technology - MCT, Education - MEC, Environment - MMA, CNPq, Health Surveillance - Anvisa) and others brazilian companies Totvs/Datasul, Hoplon, Navita and more. His main areas of study are: interaction design, digital television, usability, information architecture, visual identity and digital government.

In 2003 he worked in the restructuring of information archtecture and interface design of the Lattes Platform and in 2004 won 1st place in category Government to Citizen (G2C) at eGov Award, organized by the Federal Government and aims to promote the more efficient government internet application for citizens.
